The Ab Pro: How and when did you start training?

Aj Bristol: 2007 was the beginning of my workout journey. It started as casual workouts that lead to competitive ARTISTIC workouts. (The name THE SHOWOFF began to rise. Which came from the artistic skills I have when working on my abs)

The Ab Pro: What is your favorite quote?

Aj Bristol: “Day to Day is never the same”

The Ab Pro: What are the top 3 tips that you would give to someone looking to get six pack abs?

Aj Bristol: 1.) Maintaining a healthy and balance diet. 2.) Be creative with ab workouts. The more you confuse your muscles the better. 3.) Be determined. You get out of it what you put into it.

The Ab Pro: In general do you have difficulty gaining muscle, losing fat or are you a genetic freak that we all love to hate?

Aj Bristol: Being the body weight that I am, I have a hard time gaining muscle/fast metabolism.

The Ab Pro: What foods to you keep in your fridge?

Aj Bristol: Organic foods, water, green tea, natural fruit juices, meats and vegetables.

The Ab Pro: What is your favorite cheat meal?

Aj Bristol: Bacon

The Ab Pro: How do you manage to stay motivated?

Aj Bristol: I am competitive and artistic with each workout. I focus on setting new personal records.

The Ab Pro: What is your greatest fitness achievement?

Aj Bristol: My abs!

The Ab Pro: What are your future goals?

Aj Bristol: I would like to own my own restaurant, become a personal trainer and a fitness model for a major fitness site.

Aj Bristol: Consistency, hard work and determination.

The Ab Pro: What is your diet when trying to get in peak condition?

Aj Bristol: No sweets such as donuts, candy, etc. Stay away from restaurants. Also having 3 balance meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

The Ab Pro: What are the top 3 mistakes most people make when trying to get six pack abs?

Aj Bristol: Poor diet, neglecting cardio and expecting instant results.
